Southern Seminary (male) Student Hospitality
Posted by Jim Hamilton on July 10, 2009
Earlier this year our family had the joy of a meal at the home of 9 male students, one of whom is my younger brother. These guys are training to be pastors, and they’re practicing hospitality. It was a blessing.

I sure miss spending time with you and your family. It’s good to see others enjoying the blessing of your home, though. Take care, brother.

Good on them. “The end of all things is near… …practice gracious hospitality without grumbling.” I hope you washed your hands after leaving.

9 guys in one location… that isn’t a house, that sounds like a dormitory…
On a serious note, I am glad that they are learning this now, because it is an essential part of pastoral ministry and probably one where most of us are severely lacking!
