The latest issue of 9News is out from 9Marks, and Greg Gilbert has a great review of Joel Osteen’s book.

Thanks for the link. I have long been deeply concerned by the impact and influence of this psuedo-pastor, and it’s nice to see someone else voicing the concern.
I have written about my concern with Osteen on my xanga blog, and some people seem very hesitant to judge his ministry because it’s so “successful.” Well of course it’s successful, he tells sinning ears everything they want to hear!

Thanks for bringing this review to our attention. I have always had my doubts about how “great” this book has been promoted, and this just confirmed it. May we continue to pray for this man.–Dirk
